Who We Are

We are the Stockton's! We live about 45 minutes outside of Boston on the outskirts of Cape Cod in the small town of Carver, MA. We started our alpaca journey in 2015 with just a handful of alpacas on our 2 acres. We have since ran out of room and expanded to also use another 5 acres of farmland here in town.

Since our initial purchase, we have grown exponentially every year since. We started small and are still very much learning the business, but we are starting to get the hang of it. We believe that there is always something new to learn! We now believe that we have a great group of breeding stock and believe the future is bright.

The next step in the growth of our business is to start making and selling our own products. Creating products and selling them at local farmers markets is going to be a huge focus for us this year. Follow us on social media to see where you can find us and stop on by!

Sebby with his Pygora goat

As we began to find success in alpaca breeding, we decided to expand our farm in 2021 by adding Pygora and San Clemente Island Goats. The plan is to start breeding them both in 2023 and start our own “goatscaping business”. Follow our social media accounts to keep tabs on us making that dream a reality.

We also specialize in breeding rare and exotic poultry. We are currently several generations into breeding Quality Copper Marans and Ayam Cemani Chickens. You can also find Royal Palm and Narragansett turkeys hanging out all over the farm.

Have you ever wanted to meet an alpaca? We do over 100 event each year on and off the farm. These include farm tours, large scale farm events, local farmers markets, our store at Edaville Railroad, and much more.

Our Meat Offerings

That’s right, we also raise meat here on the farm and sell much of it to the public.  Currently, we are selling pasture raised chicken.  We sell whole chickens or parted out chicken (Drumsticks, Breast, Thighs, etc.)  We also plan on adding pork to our offerings in the near future.  You can find us at the Carver Farmers Market every sunday, or you can order here and we will reach out to arrange pickup or dropoff.

  • Maybe you have decided you want to know how the food you are eating is cared for before it gets to your table. Maybe you want to shorten your food chain so much that the beginning of the chain is your back yard and the end is your kitchen. Maybe you just want to know because it's important to continue to learn. Whatever the reason you are here, you have decided to take the step to learn how to go from feathered clucker to crispy fried Sunday dinner. We know as well as you do that you have options for learning, we love options. Option 1) YouTube- its free, you can spend hours watching someone else process chickens and you can ask them lots of questions (they wont answer because its pre recorded but you can ask). Maybe you'll pick up a little information after spending hours of your valuable time in front of the a screen....but you still don't really know what you're are doing Option 2 ) Find another farm that's processing their chickens, volunteer to help so you can learn and be put on what can only be described as an assembly line. You will be really good at 1 step of the process after doing only that step 50+ times. Consider finding a few more farms to volunteer at and after only 200-300 birds, you almost know what to do. Option 3) Join us for a hands on workshop brought to by two business joining forces for nearly 4 decades of combined homesteading experience. You get 2 licensed educators cable of tailoring the experience to your learning style. You get to practice the entire process from start to finish HANDS ON as many times as you would like so that when you leave you feel confident in your new skill set. Proud of the work you did in class? Good! you get to bring one of the birds you processed home with you to share with family. But what if you forget what we did? No worries, we will send the step by step guide home with you detailing exactly what we did. Still aren't sure? We are local and we aren't going anywhere, you can reach out anytime and we will be happy to help regain your confidence.
